PTSD & CPTSD
Post-traumatic stress is a collection of symptoms a person experiences and displays after a traumatic experience or event.
The symptoms a person experiences are a response to a psychological trigger.

Our mind is very good at protecting us from traumatic memories, which can result in a person having little or no context. This can cause a person to be triggered without full awareness of what the trigger is, especially if the trauma is from early childhood.

Hypnotherapy can help to alleviate or eradicate the following symptoms:
-
repeated upsetting memories and nightmares
-
feeling detached; emotionally numb; feeling like you do not care about anything
-
feeling irritable; nervous; unsafe or hyper-vigilant, and easily startled
-
experiencing guilt, including survivor guilt; not being able to recall important parts of an event; loss of interest in activities or other people
Additional possible symptoms of PTSD include Anxiety, depression, agitation, excitability, dizziness, fainting, racing heart, high blood pressure and headaches.
