It's like they've swallowed the moon.'

'They shine, they gleam, they glow. It's like they've swallowed the moon.'

Just after I qualified as a hypnotherapist, I was thinking about my specialism and who I most wanted to work with. I was sure I wanted to work with women. Having experience of what it is like to live under the shadow of depression, anxiety and low self-esteem, I knew my passion lay in helping women to find themselves again.

But I wasn't sure how I would get my message across. What was it I was trying to say to those women who were feeling lost? Like they were out at sea without a paddle! What was it that I had needed to hear when I was feeling lost?

The Art of Being Yourself.

Then I stumbled on a TEDx talk called The Art of Being Yourself by Caroline Mchugh. I felt drawn to her straight away. Her individual style and sense of confidence, made me want to find out what she had to say ( and I also love her Scottish accent).

I have watched her talk numerous times. Each time I watch it, I try to precisely work out what resonates with me? And I would say it isn't one thing; it is the whole thing.

But there was one sentence that stood out for me, and I knew that was part of my message and I wanted to help women to achieve it;

They shine, they gleam, they glow. It's like they've swallowed the moon.'

  • I can help you to shine.

  • I can help you to gleam.

  • I can help you to glow.

  • I can help you to shine so brightly; it is like you have swallowed the moon.

With hypnotherapy and kinetic shift, I can help you to believe in yourself and to trust yourself. To feel confident on the inside. To be the best version of yourself.

Shine so brightly; it is like you have swallowed the moon.

I hope you enjoy Caroline Mchugh’s Tedx talk as much I do, and I look forward to helping you glow like you have swallowed the moon.
